How to use the Waveform Capture feature

You can skip the tiny printer on the monitor and just capture waveforms directly into your record with Xchart's Waveform Capture feature.

Requirements:

  1. You must be on the Advanced Anesthesia subscription plan.

  2. You must have a compatible vitals monitor. See the Automatic Monitoring page of our website to see which monitors support this feature.

How to use it:

If Xchart detects that it is receiving waveform data from the monitor it will show the Waveforms button in the blue bar:

The Waveforms page also shows up in the navigation underneath Vitals:

When you click either the button or the menu item it takes you to a page that shows all the waveforms it is receiving.

You can either click Save all to capture them all or Save snapshot on one of the individual waveforms:

You'll also have the option to add notes about what you're seeing:

If you have captured waveforms, an additional page shows up on the final report with all the capture waveforms:
