This feature, available exclusively on the Advanced Anesthesia Plan, allows multiple people to sign an anesthesia record. Below is a video demo and a step-by-step guide on how to use it.
There are situations where a secondary signature is required or preferred, such as:
States where CRNAs must also sign anesthesia records.
Educational settings where both an instructor and a student sign the record.
While a single person, the primary provider, is ultimately responsible for the record and must sign it to finalize, additional signers can be added if multiple signature support is enabled.
Key Points:
Extra signatures do not finalize the record or prevent further edits.
You can add a maximum of 3 secondary signatures.
The report is finalized only after the primary provider’s signature.
Adding a Secondary Signature
Click the + Add secondary signature button in the Report Preview.
Enter the name of the additional signer.
Add their signature in the provided field.
Click Submit.
The record remains editable until the primary provider completes their signature.
