How to update/change a scheduled appointment in Xchart

This article will show you how to change the provider or update/change the appointment information/level of sedation.

Step by step instructions:

  1. Login to your Xchart account

  2. From the dashboard screen (calendar view) select the patient from the calendar whose appointment needs to be updated/changed. Or you can find the case by using the patient search or case search bar.

  3. Click the patient to go into the "case summary" page.

  4. From the Case summary view select "edit/reschedule"

  5. Then you can use the drop-down to select a different provider you can change the date, time or location of the appointment, or even the level of sedation that will be used during the case.
