If you have used Xchart with other serial connections in the past you may have to reset permissions in Chrome.

You can do that by:
1. Clicking the little "lock" icon right next to the URL bar at the top of your browser

2. Clicking "Reset permissions".
3. Then refresh the page (you will most likely be prompted to do that by Chrome).

Now try connecting again.
