Required settings and video

Step #1: Make sure you have the required equipment

In order to connect the BeneVision N1, you'll need:

  1. The cradle from Mindray that includes the required ports. Specifically it has the Ethernet and USB ports we'll need.

  2. The special adapter from Xchart. You can contact [email protected] to get these.

  3. Make sure it is physically connected as follows:

Step #2: Configure the monitor

Navigate to the following screen:

  1. Menu

  2. Maintenance

  3. Enter password (must be uppercase): MIN888

  4. Scroll over to the "Network Setup" tab by hitting the ">>" icon near the top right corner.

  5. On the network tab, in the menu on the left, select "HL7 Configuration" and change the following settings:

    1. Server Address: 192.168.0.7

    2. Port: 5000

    3. Data Interval: 10 Seconds (or 1 second, if available)

    4. Send Data: Toggle "ON"

    5. Send Waveforms: Toggle "ON" (if you are going to use this feature)
