When you create a new Xchart case for a patient that is already in Xchart, the system will attempt to copy over relevant data from the previous case into the new case.
Please note that it only copies from the single most recent signed/finalized case and that the copy occurs at the time the new appointment is created in Xchart.
If you don't sign and finalize cases in Xchart, no data will ever be copied over.
If it does find a valid case to copy from it will copy the following items into the new case:
Medications
Height
Weight
Allergies
Anesthesia history
Family anesthesia history
Surgical history
Systems review items
Hospitalization history
Mallampati score
ASA classification
