Some Xchart users have never signed in to Xchart directly. Instead they sign in by launching Xchart via an integrated 3rd party like CareStack or other trusted EMR.
For various reasons signing in via the 3rd party is not always preferable. Perhaps you'd like to be able to more easily access your Xchart account via your phone, for example.
To do this, you need to also create a direct login for your Xchart account as follows.
How to create a direct Xchart login:
Sign in via the 3rd party first like you normally would. For example, log into your account on CareStack then launch Xchart. You'll be taken to the handoff application and signed into your linked account on Xchart.com.
Navigate to the "Profile" page by clicking the little gear icon in the upper right corner of the Case Manager:
On this login page, you'll see an option for creating a direct login. Once you've created that login and linked it to your CareStack login you'll be all set.
Now you can just open Xchart.com on any device, and click the "sign in" button in the upper right corner to access your account without having to go through the 3rd party app.
