Prevent Chrome from Pausing Your Active Case Tab

Chrome may suspend tabs to save memory and resources when they're not in use. Here's how to prevent this from happening with Xchart

If you switch to another tab while connected to a vitals monitor in Xchart sometimes Chrome will pause or "suspend" that active tab.

If you're switching to another tab and then coming back to find that it's disconnected or that you're logged out, this is probably what has happened.
โ€‹
Please change the following setting in Chrome to configure an exception for your active cases.

Step #1: Open "settings" in Chrome:


Step #2: Select "Performance" on the left and find the "Add" button for "always keep these sites active"

Step #3: Enter "Add sites manually" and type case.xchart.com and click "Add" to confirm


That's it! You should now see it listed there:
